The activity of the Bihor Mountain & Cave Rescue Service is partially financed by the Bihor County Council. In addition to this, the Bihor Mountain Rescue Service benefited from a special financial support of about 562 million lei from the Romanian Government, as a part of a national financing program. This program initiated by the Romanian Government, started as a respond to a great number of accidents (many of them with a tragic end) that happened during 2003 - 2004. And, when the Mountain Rescue Teams intervened to these accidents, it brought into relief the numerous lacks into their gear: the lack of special stretchers, means of road transport etc.
The activities of the Bihor Mountain Rescue Service are extra financed by:
- The Mountain Rescue Association's own founds obtained from:
- works at height - windows cleaning, advertising decorations, painting etc.;
- organizing, assisting and renting technical gear for some touristic programs, sport competitions, mountain camps, training or entertaining sport programs;
- The aid of the sponsors;
- External and internal financing for some projects initiated by the Bihor Mountain Rescue Association (ASM Bihor);
- 2% taxes;
- Donations.

Up to now the activity of the ASM Bihor was financed by some firms, institutions and non-governmental organizations.
The ones which constantly appeal to our industrial-mountaineering works - and in this way they finances us - are considered to be 'Contributors' of the ASM Bihor.
Also, ASM Bihor doesn't always receive money donations, but also in kind donations (products, services).
